Our Vision… The vision of the Presbyterian Church of the Springs, A MISSIONARY
OUTPOST TO THE
WORLD
AN “EPIC” CHURCH FOR “EPIC” TIMES that will communicate an ANCIENT-FUTURE FAITH through our REACH-EQUIP-SEND-SUPPORT strategy for ministry. We will consider ourselves faithful to our vision when 80% of our members are engaged in a ministry to which they are called, gifted, and equipped.
Experiential Image Oriented Connectedness
Our Mission… The mission of the Presbyterian Church of the Springs, is to fulfill Jesus’ Great Commission by meeting the heart, mind, soul and physical needs of the people of Iredell County through 1) dynamic, relevant Worship which speaks to the heart and the mind; 2) Small Groups that help bring balance to life and authenticity to relationships; 3) a Children’s Educational Ministry that will provide a safe, loving environment for young people to learn Christian principles and values; and 4) an opulent Hospitality that will reach out to both those who are visiting the church and those who, as of yet, have not done so. We will do all this by implementing our REACH-EQUIP-SEND-SUPPORT strategy for ministry in an atmosphere of high commitment, excellence through training, intentional discipleship, and genuineness in all of our relationships.
Our Values… We value God’s future for our church. We value equipping every member for ministry. We value mobilizing church members through spiritual gifts. We value spiritual passion for Jesus Christ. We value functional and productive structures. We value responsive, inspiring and engaging worship. We value face-to-face ministry in small groups. We value need-oriented evangelism. We value loving relationships We value ministry to children and youth. We value our ministry strategy for building disciples. We value God’s compassion for the world. |
